An exhibition and degustation of the finest Istrian wines was an excellent additon to the festive celebration, that was going on for days in Rovinj. Organizers from the Tourist Association of Rovinj managed to show, with big help from Edi Maruzin from ' Gustafi ' and his crowd, by whom it was directed and performed, what it looks like when ' the wine makes the festa in Rovinj '.

In the small Matteoti Square , near the entrance to the old-town centre, stalls with the wines of the best Istrian wine-growers were set. The purchase of one crystal glass, with the sign 'RoVino 003 'engraved on it for the price of 50 kunas, enabled one to spend whole day tasting the best wines from the cellars of Franco and Marijan Arman, Coronice , Degrassio ,Frajone , Grote , Kozlovic , Matosevic , Pilat , Polotti and Radovan.

Apart from that, prosciutto and hard cheese could be bought at popular prices.
There was a great interest for the degustations, and the Italians, who are famous for their love of good food and drinks, were delighted.

It was the toughest for the popular Senjo, who was sweating while cutting prosciutto.
Musicians from Vinizada and Visnjan were in charge of the music.
It was, without a shadow of a doubt, an excellent move, which should be repeated on most important day for Rovinj, the day of it's saintess St. Euphemia.
