As a part of the campaign “Let My Istria Shine”, the Tourist Board of the Town of Rovinj gave away over 1500 bouquets and seedlings of various plants and summer flowers, such as lavender, santolina, verbena, geranium, surfinia and begonia
In the framework of the campaign entitled Let My Istria Shine (Neka moja Istra blista), the Tourist Board of the town will organize its traditional giveaway event on Saturday, April 21, at 10 a.m., distributing seedlings and flowers for free to the citizens of Rovinj. This flower campaign will be held on the plateau in front of the Tourist Board, and it will include giving away 1,500 lavander, santolina, verbena, geranium and surfinia seedlings as well as seedlings of summer flowers such as begonia, petunia and impatiens, which the people of Rovinj will once again use to decorate their balconies, yards and gardens. This campaign is a symbolic and unique way to announce the beginning of the new tourist season.

The Tourist Board gave away flowers and books
As a part of the campaign “Let My Istria Shine”, the Tourist Board of the Town of Rovinj gave away over 1500 bouquets and seedlings of various plants and summer flowers, such as lavender, santolina, verbena, geranium, surfinia and begonia.
This traditional giveaway event has been taking place annually for over a decade. Its aim is to decorate and enliven the gardens, balconies and yards of the citizens of Rovinj.
This year the citizens were given the opportunity to take home not only the delicate flowers, but two books as well – the traditional Istrian almanac “Jurinu i Franinu” and a collection of poems “Kunje i kustanji” by Remiđ Sošić.
