Intimate atmosphere in the Edmondo de Amicis Street; glamorous ambiance of the Marshall Tito Square; and the natural and, above all, positively funky atmosphere at the middle stage set up at the beginning of the Big Pier (Veliki mol) - this would be the shortest telegraphic report about the events organized in celebration of the Rovinj Night, at least as far as music entertainment is concerned.

For that natural and funky atmosphere we should thank the Domižana Duo from Dubrovnik, without whose performance the Rovinj Night, as well as many other summer nights in the town, would not be what they really are. Only the Domižana Duo can manage to make the audience dance whether they play the linđo, a traditional dance from their native region, or a Slavonian bećarac (a traditional folk song), hit folk songs such as Otvor’ ženo kapiju, Laže selo, lažu ljudi or Dalmatian songs such as Vela luka, Zapivajmo noćas u konobi or Maslina je neobrana.

Two other bands namely Give me Five and Dream Project contributed greatly to the overall atmosphere at the crowded Big Pier (Veliki mol) and St. Cross Street. They were the main reason why so many visitors of the Rovinj Night decided to entertain themselves in front of this stage.

The atmosphere was topped with the gastronomic offer prepared by the Maistra - salted anchovies and pickerels, fried squids, cutlets, sausages, kebabs (ražnjići), and grilled minced-meat fingers (ćevapčići). Numerous sweets salesmen offering their products on the stands catered to the needs of those with a sweet tooth. Many of them came to Rovinj especially for this occasion.
