Surely one of the best Croatian ethno musicians Tamara Obrovac, and her band „Transhistria ansambe“ with Uroš Rakovec on guitar, mandolin and mandola, Simone Zanchini on accordion, Žiga Golob on double bass and Kruno Levačić on drums, enthused the audience with their concert and promotion of CD "Daleko je…".

The summer stage „Monte“, situated at the foot of the city protector Sveta Eufemija, inspired the famous musician, who opened the concert with the song „Anđele moj“.

Performances of other songs followed, among which one especially popular with the audience, „Majmajole“, in which the author reciting the names of the Istrian villages, created an intimate and warm atmosphere, almost a secret pact between Istrians.

Interpretation of the song „Spomin“ was impressive as well, written in honor of her grandmother, “Biscto rudulandi“ and „Il dolor“, song which according to the author, was written in Rovinj. As expected, the leading song on CD „Daleko je onaj ko me voli“, familiar to many from the preview for a film based on the book by Ante Tomić „Što je muškarac bez brkova?“ generated the biggest and the longest applause.

The evening concert of this fantastic and talented musician and her accompanying band „Transhistria ansambe” was jointly organized by the Tourist Board, the Town of Rovinj and Pučko otvoreno učilište (Open public university). Furthermore, Tamara's widely attended June concert in Rovinj was a pre-premiere and the best possible introduction to the upcoming World Music Festival, announced for 21 July.
