Today, August 17, Rovinj was the first in Croatia to reach three million overnight stays, on the same day as last year. From the beginning of the year to the present day, the number of overnight stays is at the level of 2022, while the number of arrivals is 2% higher.
The largest number of overnight stays in that period was made by tourists from Germany (32 percent), Austria (15 percent), Italy (seven percent each), Dutch and domestic tourists (six percent).
Most overnight stays were in campsites (45 percent), private accommodation (23 percent), hotels (19 percent) and tourist resorts (10 percent).
Currently, 37,000 guests are staying in our destination, which is at last year's level, most of them coming from Germany, Italy and Austria.
