Weekend Food Festival

The Weekend Food Festival, for the fourth time, returns to the Old Tobacco Factory under the slogan ''Eat Local, Think Global''. The focus of this year's edition will be on local ingredients, indigenous recipes and improving the quality of the domestic gourmet scene, with which the festival continues to promote excellence in gastronomy.

With three successful editions behind it and more than four thousand visitors each year, the Weekend Food Festival has established itself as an unmissable event for all hospitality professionals and lovers of top-notch gastronomy. The festival brings together chefs, sommeliers, caterers and other experts, providing a unique platform for the exchange of ideas, education and networking. The festival program includes lectures, panels, masterclasses and relaxed socializing with local specialties and wines.

A new edition is the Weekend Food Market, which will be located in a special Rengitel zone, created in collaboration with Maistra. This zone will be available to everyone, without a ticket, and will offer the best local specialties and indigenous dishes. Every evening, visitors will be able to enjoy special offers from popular Rovinj restaurants, where chefs and sommeliers will join forces to create unique gastronomic experiences. RANGITE! - Istrian Food Market is a carefully designed concept by Maistra, under the motto "How grandfother did it, how grandson does it", with the aim of reviving authentic Rovinj and Mediterranean cuisine. Maistra has also prepared the Maistra Collection Gourmet Weekend offer, which includes exclusive dinners in Michelin restaurants.
