In the new hall of Multimedia centre, the third concert in a row from the “Great players” cycle was held, promoting the biggest young talents of the artistic music in Croatia.
Young artists, schools of music takers, have until today been awarded at numerous governmental and international competitions, having shown exceptional confidence and great skill in their playing at the Rovinj concert. The concert evening was opened by the percussion trio from Pula School of music “Ivan Matetić Ronjgov” - Toni Pernić, Marin Šišović and Dušan Kranjc, who performed the composition “Tres piernas”. The performance of harmonica duo followed (Nikola Glavaš and Ozren Grozdanović), also from Pula, which played a suite “Paintings from the exhibition”, and a harmonica quartet (Teo Visintin, Armando Rajčić, Robi Simonelli and Dragan Todorović), which has chosen the composition “Adios nonino”.
The Poreč School of music “Slavko Zlatić” was represented by two piano duos. The first, consisting of Filip Tomaško and Karla Fatorić, performed the composition “El Diabio Cojuelo”, and the second, consisting of sisters Anamarija and Maria Bilandžić, decided to perform the composition “Minor rhapsodies on Hungarian topics”. Members of piano trio from the School of music “Lovro pl. Matačić” from Omiš - Marino Tomasović, Latica Anićand Lovre Marušić, performed the “Ballad for violin, cello and piano”, and the duo Anić - Marušić “Elegy and humoresque”. Zagreb guitarists from Music teaching establishment “Elly Bašić”, Mak Grgič and Marko Ferlan, performed the composition “Rumores de la Caleta”, after which young Ivan Petričević and Josip Grgurević joined them on the stage and they jointly performed Prelude and fugue in D minor. The quartet ended the performance with a Hebrew composition “Hava nagila”.
The artistic manager of the concert cycle was a composer, conductor and a music producer Zdravko Šljivac, and the concert was held in the organization of Croatian radio-and-television, Tourist community and Hotel establishment “Maistra”.
