The second festival night of the international folk music Festival Sete Sois Sete Luas, taking place for the third year in a row in Rovinj as well, was characterised by Portuguese accordion players and the Itanlian band Parto Nuvole Pesanti.

The orchestra of accordion players from Ponte de Sor is composed of 18 musicians performing tunes from the national and cultural heritage of Portugal. The Orchestra is one of the rare bands in the world that consists of musicians that exclusively play the accordion, which makes them extra attractive and recognisable. Apart from their characteristic sound, they won the hearts and minds of the audience by their stage appearance as well. That is, these are aged, but quite vivacious musicians, who showed and proved good music knows of no boundaries – whether those of nations or of age.

An excellent performance was given too by the Italian musicians from the Parto delle Nuvole Pesanti, who made the already wild audience go dance until they really could not move any longer. Their music, filled with good vibrations and bursting with energy, attracts the audience more so because of engaged lyrics and poetry, but also on account of harmonious weaving of traditional and innovative musical elements that finally produce an original musical experiment. Parto delle Nuvole Pesanti offered the audience an ironic and breathtaking spectacle that added moments of high poetic lyricism to the usual rhythmic appearance and charge.
