The Romanian orchestra that gave a concert at the Rovinj’s Church of St. Euphemia mostly consists of young musicians, and it is led by its founder, the award-winning Maestro Florin Totan, who conducted some of the world’s leading orchestras.

The repertoire the Sinfonia Bucarest Orchestra performed for its Rovinj’s audience included Mozart’s Symphony No.35 (also known as the Haffner Symphony) /Allegro con spirito, Andante, Menuetto, Presto/, Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances /Joc Cu Bita, Briul, Pe Loc, Buciumeana, Poarga Româneasca, Maruntel/ and the Symphony No. 4 (The Italian Symphony)/Allegro vivace, Andante con moto, Con moto moderato, Saltarello, Presto/ by Mendelssohn).

The following of many concerts that will take place during the Rovinj Summer Festival, sponsored by the Town of Rovinj and co-organized by the Rovinj Tourist Board and Maistra hotel business, is scheduled for July 19, when Ronald Braus (baritone) accompanied by Albert Frka on the piano will perform for the music lovers of Rovinj.

The concert of the Chordes Trio is scheduled for July 23 and the month will end with the performance by Maxim Fedotov (also known as Russian Paganini) and Galina Petrova on the piano on July 27.

All three events will take place at the Franciscan Monastery.
