After opening earlier this year, on Tuesday 7 September, 2021 Rovinj restaurant Agli Amici won its first Michelin star.

Agli Amici in Udine has been run by the Scarello family since 1887 and in 2013 it was awarded a second Michelin star. As of this year chef Emanuele and his sister and restaurant manager and sommelier Michela can add another accolade to their collection after winning another Michelin star, this time with the recently opened restaurant on the Lungomare Plaza promenade in front of Grand Park Hotel in the five-anchor ACI Marina Rovinj.

The restaurant offers three tasting menus created by chef Emanuele Scarello: Godia, Istra and Rovinj. All three menus convey the gastronomic guiding principles of sustainability, passion and exploration fostered in Agli Amici.

The first Croatia’s restaurant to win a Michelin star back in 2017 was Monte. The prestigious awards are very important for Rovinj tourism, as they put our destination on the international gastronomic map.
