Spring edition of the gourmet event ‘On the paths of rovinj delicacies’ begins
This spring, famous restaurants in Rovinj are offering visitors the best of their cuisine in a joint food and wine project. From April 21st to May 7th, as part of the popular gourmet event ‘On the paths of Rovinj delicacies’, you can enjoy carefully selected variations of fish and meat menus, typical for Rovinj and its surroundings.
As before, appetizers, main courses, and desserts will be available at promotional prices, and guests will also enjoy the homemade spirits of prominent local winemakers. The restaurants Dream, Fortuna, Graciano, Brancin da Nino, Santa Roma, Štorija, Ranch Fortuna, Volley Ferata, and Kantinon have prepared authentic menus for the new edition of the ‘On the paths of Rovinj delicacies’ event. These menus will feature, among other things, prosciutto, young cow's milk cheese, Istrian pasta fuži with chicken goulash, marinated sardines, cod, pork fillet in apple sauce, pljukanci with wild asparagus and prosciutto, black risotto with fennel, monkfish with wild asparagus, mussels alla buzara, Istrian maneštra, Istrian ombolo with porcini mushroom sauce, grilled sheep’s milk cheese with truffle sauce, truffle ice cream, and many other specialties.
Although diverse, the offer of these restaurants shares one thing in common: it is based on homemade Istrian cuisine and respect for the freshness and seasonality of organic ingredients, full of aromas and flavours that attract a large number of visitors every year.
